“In the mid 90s I drifted into the world of investment banking. I was never really comfortable there - it didn’t feel like my scene, but I stayed, because, well, the money was good and it seemed prestigious in a funny, fake sort of way, although I was always just a ‘minion’.  In the 2010s I started getting really restless in myself - why am I here? What am I here for? Surely there’s more to life than this! This daily grind, this hamster wheel of striving but never getting ahead and, worse, striving at something that doesn’t even resonate with me. And how can I give back? I’m one of the 1%, but what can I actually DO? And then the ‘Omniverse’ as I call it, responded to my questioning. It brought me to a process I never expected, one I didn’t actually know I was looking for. Through that process I uncovered my core values and diamonds (or skills), and now, being conscious of those, I have not only a Vision for my life, but also a Mission that helps me to move towards it. Now that I understand who I am at a fundamental level, it is easier for me to make choices that keep me in alignment with my true self, with what I really want out of life, and for the world. Now I am more ‘in flow’ and more at peace. We are all unique - we each have something precious to share, but so many of us have only a vague feeling hinting at what that might be, so we wander (and wonder) on, lost, confused, taking wrong turns that lead us to places we don’t really want to be. If that sounds like you,  my advice to you would be simply this - stop drifting. Jump into this process, uncover your true self and live a life that’s truly in alignment with the real you.
